INTERNATIONAL FACULTY ENGAGED IN PG COURSE

From the academic year 2009 – 2010, an elective course on Neurogenetics and hands on Neurophysiology program were offered to the students of M. Sc. Genomics every year.   This course was offered as a part of the long standing collaboration between the School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India and the Department Biologie II, Biozentrum der Universität München, Planegg_Martinsried, Germany.

Prof. Dr. Gerd Schuller and Ms. Johanna Schuller from Munich, Germany visit India as visiting faculties and educate the M.Sc. students in their area of expertise.  It is noteworthy that their visit to India has been sponsored by DAAD, Germany by covering their air travel.  We hope to continue this teaching collaboration in the coming years also to show our commitment in providing our students the best knowledge from experts of national and international origin.
