Keeping in tune with the UGC’s guidelines on Safety of Students in Higher Educational Institutions, Madurai Kamaraj University’s “Students Counselling Cell” has been functioning in collaboration with M.S.Chellamuthu Trust for Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai with the following objectives:
To promote mental wellness among the student community by providing psychological counselling services to the needy students.
To make the students grow into matured and mentally strong adults who can realize and perform to their fullest capacity and handle their personal and professional lives efficiently.
