Warm Greetings from Madurai Kamaraj University Evening College, Madurai.
In our journey of 50 years of existence since 1st December 1966 with a gap of 6 years between 2012 and 2017, the College catered to the educational needs of lakhs and lakhs of employed/self employed and those candidates who were unable to study under regular stream of education, by offering many Undergraduate/Post graduate, B.Ed/M.Ed/M.Phil and Professional courses. The College has been offering 21 M.Phil programmes from the academic year 2017-18, 3 Post graduate courses such as M.A English, M.Sc Mathematics and M.B.A from the academic year 2018-19 and M.Phil Political Science from 2019-20. From 2020-21 onwards, we offer 8 Under graduate courses such as B.A Tamil, B.A English, B.A Economics, B.A History, B.A Political Science, B.B.A, B.Com and B.Sc Mathematics. The College aims at achieving the goals of excellence, equity and employability of the student community at large and meeting the educational needs of employed/self employed in particular.
Madurai Kamaraj University Evening College, Madurai is also empanelled as one of the Madurai Kamaraj University Examination Centres (Centre Code: 228). The College is functioning in tune with the vision and mission of Madurai Kamaraj University by exploring new areas of education to help the student community in large on the basis of the educational policies of the Higher Education Departments of the Centre and State Government of Tamil Nadu.
