 Women’s Studies Centre of Madurai Kamaraj University organized a One-Day National Seminar on “Challenges Faced by Women in the Current Scenario” on 12th October 2017. Key note address was delivered by Mr. K. Sukumaran Superintendent of Police, VI Battalion, Madurai.

 Women’s Studies Centre of Madurai Kamaraj University and Pidilite Industries Limited organized a One-Day Skill Based Workshop on ‘Fabric painting’ on 24th August 2017.

 A One-Day National Seminar on “Women Empowerment and Globalization” was held on January 22nd 2015 organized by Women’s Studies Centre, Madurai Kamaraj University. The Inaugural Address was delivered by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University Col. Dr. Mrs. Kalyani Mathivanan and Dr. N. Rajasekar, Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University delivered the Special Address. The Key-note Address was delivered by Dr. Moly Kuruvilla, Professor and Founding Director, Centre for Women’s Studies, University of Calicut.
